Oversight and guidance of the Coalition’s activities is the responsibility of a Governance Council whose members include no less than 5 and no more than 14 representatives from lead agencies whose mission is aligned with the Coalition and who willingly dedicate in-kind resources to assist in meeting Coalition goals. Lead Agencies are also identified as those who oversee multiple programs and/or those with the capacity serve as a fiscal agent for any of the Coalition’s special projects. Lead agencies act as guides for the Coalition through its member’s knowledge of the community and are actively engaged in Coalition committees and projects.
