The Coalition’s primary goal is to develop a strong, effective infrastructure that promotes positive outcomes for children and families in Southern Illinois. We accomplish this by:
Communicating and educating the public on issues, needs, programs, and resources.
Coordinating partnerships between existing programs, initiatives, collaborations and events and
Connecting children and families with services, and programs with resources.
Members of the Coalition have identified four focus areas for their work. They include Early Education, Strong Families, Children's Health and Caring and Engaged Communities.
Beginning in the Fall 2020, Coalition members began the process of identifying critical shift priorities for each of the focus areas. Once identified, new action teams will be launched and workplans developed.
